I just installed MaxVeloSSD and chose some size for the cache.
It required restart and I did that.
Now I want to increase the size of the cache but when I do it goes not responding.
I tried restarting, selected the same operation and again .. not responding

Immediate size up/down is not available in Trial.
But you can remove cache, reboot and then create
a new one with the wanted size.

Good to know, but why does it go not responding and not just popup a message that this is not available in trial.
I just wanted to make sure it works correctly before buying.
And if the app goes unresponsive like this and there is no way of killing it, unable to do so from task manager .. does the service still works, does the caching still happens ?

Ok, now I am not happy.
I bought the personal edition. I activated it. I even got a message saying that I can add more cache now. When I replied Yes then the box for adjusting cache size popped up. I changed the cache size and the app is not responding.

Cybertod, I will come back to you here and clear this issue up in a short while. Cache size changing has not been touched for a while but is known to work. However I´ll be back soon.

Please do, because I don't know what to do now.
I am trying to remove the cache now and make bigger now from scratch.
But the issue is that I removed the cachea and still the free space is not restored. The file is still there even though it is not used by the app.

I can just go and delete the file .. but is this the right way to do it ?
And if you need me to send something to help figuring out where the problem is I will.

Cybertod, the app will not respond in Trial mode, it should display a little message saying this.
This is fixed now and will be part of the next update.

Activated it will display the "enlarge SSD cache" Dialog Windows
with a big pie chart. So I guess you are running still in Trial mode.

Don´t go and delete by hand / force.
The app will do this correct and safe.
If you already deleted the cache file make
sure the cache is deleted in the app too.

The cache file is just a hidden file
and gets visible if you turn that on in the explorer.

It is a normal file and deletable,
although it is protected against deletion
as long as the cache itself lives in the app.

Long talk short sense:

enlarge ssd feature is available in the activated app.

Ok, here is what I did :
After a restart the file was deleted. I recreated cache with the desired size.
But I don't want to try if enlarging works now. I hate restarts, not to mention they take long, don't ask me why .. my ssd is the boot drive.
Any chance this option will be changed to "resize cache" in future versions .. as in shrink/enlarge, even if shrinking is with wiping the contents ?
