When I am setting up a VeloFull cache, I see a checkbox with "Persistent memory direct access mode" next to it.
I have a chipset configured raid 0 volume of 3 sata ssds that I am using my 900p Optane os boot drive as a cache for. I am also using a ram cache for the same raid 0 volume.

Optane is persistent memory. Direct access mode is the best possible use for it. Is there any way I can use VeloFull to cache my sata raid volume in direct access mode on my pcie based persistent memory?

I am running Windows 10 1909, but would be willing to switch to any version. I do not have access to Optane dimms however and am concerned this is the issue as I don't have Intel's hardware and driver framework in place to run direct access mode Intel style.

If the Intel hardware/driver framework is necessary for VeloFull "Persistent memory direct access mode" to function, is it better to leave this option unchecked?

Thanks for your post, and sorry for our delyed response.

Basically the machine would need to have Dimm form factor optane memory.
NVMe Optane is not enough. Open for discussion.

Our software does nothing whith the settings unless persistant ram dimms are present.
